Corporate Associate

Corporate Associate Manchester £55,000 - £70,000 per annum HOB653 Permanent

Our client who are a progressive UK Top 100 law firm, require an Associate to join their corporate department.

The Corporate team acts for a wide range of clients in all industry sectors including multinational private and listed companies and innovative high growth scale-ups and venture capital investment funds.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the partners and involving high levels of direct client contact, the work will include:

  • M&A work for UK and international clients
  • Venture capital work for both investors and investees
  • Advising on IPOs and secondary fundraisings
  • Establishment of UK operations for overseas clients
  • Drafting, especially of sale and purchase agreements, subscription and shareholder agreements.
  • Group structuring and restructuring
  • Joint ventures
  • General corporate work.

 

Key Skills & Experience

  • Qualified lawyer with good experience gained in a well rated practice
  • 1 - 4 years PQE
  • M&A/Venture capital/ECM
  • Relevant ‘hands-on’ work experience
  • Proven project and time management skills
  • A confident and professional manner.
