Hobbs has been instructed to recruit a NQ-2 Solicitor into the Property Litigation team of a leading firm in Leeds.
The firm have a small unit of Partners and Solicitors who deal with property litigation advice that includes:
- Possession claims for breach of tenancy, suitable alternative accommodation, loss of security of tenure.
- Anti-social behaviour enforcement and nuisance problems.
- Disrepair and dilapidations claims
- Tenancy fraud including unlawful subletting and succession.
- Breach of lease and forfeiture (residential and commercial).
- Squatter proceedings.
- Business tenancy renewals.
- Boundary and right of way disputes.
Requirements:
- A trainee seat working in dispute resolution (ideally property litigation) and or a good background in property litigation.
- Ideally 2:1 and above at degree level
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to convey clear and concise information
- Highly focussed attention to detail
